“When you think about summer, what comes to mind first and foremost?” Ice-Cream, and lot’s of it right? QSR reports Maggie Moo’s  will be adding four new flavors that will be introduced over the next few months, starting this month with Watermelon Taffy.

…“We’re excited to make MaggieMoo’s the destination for summer fun,” said Jenn Johnston, senior vice president of brand marketing for NexCen Franchise Management, in a news release. “The summer menu was designed to provide our guests with new flavor profiles enjoyed in an entertaining environment”…

Summer represents a more care-free atmosphere when families involve themselves in more fun-type activities. I stayed an entire summer with my grandfather who was somewhat illiterate, yet the best kind of grandfather a kid could have. His idea of fun was to take me to the local ice-cream stand nightly, and allow me to eat as much as I wanted even if it meant I became “ill”. He’s been gone many years, but the memories he created that summer have lasted a lifetime. Isn’t that what “summer” fun is all about?
