October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and having watched and cared for my mother during her illness with breast cancer in 2004, only to be diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer myself in April of this year, this is very close to my heart. QSRmagazine reports Yogurtland goes pink for breast cancer awareness along with their Avon partnership.

I was fortunate to have caught my breast cancer very early. Having my mammogram literally saved my life. Whether it’s your grandmother, mother, wife, sister, daughter or even your husband…Don’t hesitate when the time comes for your mammogram. Everyday is a precious gift. I’m also happy to say my mom is a seven year survivor, so keep on keeping on!
